Well if anyone else has a view they can chime in.

What's the reason the stock is up 10% today following the share for share exchange if the exchange is not meaningful?

Today is Wednesday. The merger closed Tuesday. It's been in the papers. This was a share for share exchange, and a change of name. It was not a takeover offer on Friday with a pop on Monday.

Is today the first day of trading for the NYSE as a public company, and thus today we are getting the normal IPO pop?
