We should have created a guest worker program long ago. A program that would have controlled the immigration through the checkpoints and killed the Coyote business. I think they should have created a program where guest workers can come the US for 10 months or 11 months maximum at a time. To get entry you simply have to present identification and fill out some immigration papers. Once approved you get a guest worker ID card with your photo on it, and it allows you to work in the US for the period of time shown. The Mexican government requires it of people from the US who want to work in Mexico. Should be a two way street there. Orca

Conservatives like to condemn the emerging Hispanic middle class which is coming to dominate the southwestern US. But-unlike the black-dominated peoples republics that give us viscous anti-Americans in the form of the House Black Caucus-the new Hispanics, even when voting Democratic in a safe Democrat district, embrace Bush.
