Next time I get a phone call from a high school senior in tears over Yale's rejection, I'll tell them to visit a local museum and blow up some sacred Buddhas, stone a homosexual or threaten to beat his/her mother to death if she refuses to wear a burka. C'mon, Bill. This letter is just plain dopey. It's just a temper tantrum. This lady couldn't think her way out of a paper bag. How on earth did she get into Yale? But thanks for posting it. Now I am much less impressed by the intellectual acuity of Yale students.
