The religions of Islam and Buddhism are based on myths and fables and have no solid foundation in historical reality. Christianity, on the other hand, is based on reality which is well documented in the eyewitness historical accounts in the New Testament documents.

That statement is naively dogmatic to the point of being laughable.

Many religions claim to be the one true faith, the one based on fact, and the one closest to God. In fact, one of Islam's main assertions in this area is that the Koran has not been altered from the original, whereas the Bible has not only undergone significant change over the centuries (through translations and other editing), but also contain portions that were written many years (and possibly generations) after the events.
