I think the FED is behind the curve on rate hikes and that they probably don't rely on the bond market for instructions. What concerns me is the FED's rhetoric in the press, not the increase in bond yields.

I know a little about the carry trade but just enough to get myself into trouble talking about it, so I'll leave this issue to those of you who can walk the walk.

For the NASDAQ to hit upside resistance and then correct shouldn't have been surprising.

So far, as Don pointed out, maybe all we needed was a bear statement like I made earlier to turn this puppy around!

I watched Agilent struggle with $37 all day...$36.97 was best it could do! I'll probably sell 100 shares there just to appease the bull Gods just to send it on its way to $60... I'd sure like to see that breakout above $38, the blue line on the 2nd Agilent chart here investment.suite101.com
Pretty good inverted Head and Shoulders if it can clear $38...
