re: "I think what Mq is saying is that the door is always open if they decide that now isn't the best time to live in Israel."

What in their history or present indicates that New Zealand would welcome a large scale Jewish immigration?

<They care about Mecca and Medina, and think that pretending that Jerusalem is important to the faith is actually wrong.>

Interesting. But they seem to care about everywhere. Denmark's government has been ordered to apologize to somebody. Megalomaniacs know no boundaries and recognize no others.

I'm certain that very few foaming at the mouth Moslems who claim to be terribly offended by the cartoons saw them and obviously didn't understand them.

The cartoons quite rightly pointed out the vicious response that Moslems give to anything that offends them or that somebody tells them offends them even if they haven't read "The Satanic Verses" or seen the cartoons, or understood any of them all.

The cartoons didn't poke fun at Mohammed or Islam so much as, obviously quite correctly, at the violent rabid fanatics who claim to be followers of Mohammed, peace be upon him, and Peacemakers be upon them. They confirmed the very point of the cartoons, though they probably don't understand that.

PS: I don't do religion in any sense that most people would recognize. <Mq doesn't "do" religion > But I definitely think there is something very suspicious going on and there's more to it all than meets the eye. That doesn't mean the first "Turtles stacked on top of each other with Santa on top" theory which some self-serving liar propounds is correct. Or any other such claims about having The Word.
