He had burn marks all over his body from cigarettes and from acid. His fingers were all cut. After weeks of constant torture they poured some liquid on him and burned him to death, just because he was a Jew. The French authorities refused to stop this torture, even though they could, because they didn't want to offend French Muslims. I have no doubt that Emile would do something like that, enjoyed hearing the news, and was even gratified by reading about it. I wonder what kind of a horrible image Emile has of his God, for Emile to be so hateful. Thomas A Watson, you also said: "As to God, if you are correct, it matters not what I or anyone believe. If I am correct, you may be really screwed. Some may believe you are 100% screwed." But, I am not screwed. Life has been great and life is still wonderful. When I die, I am gone forever. No pain, no pleasure. I don't believe in a god or a devil, but I do believe that there is both good and evil, and in all cases it is man made, and in many cases evil is caused by religious beliefs.
