Troops would not be deserting if Bush-Cheney were honest and cared about our fighting men and women. Eight thousand deserters is a huge, telling number considering the fact Bush-Cheney portray themselves as friends of the military. Indeed, they are no friends of the US troops, only the defence contractors and war profiteers. They have exploited the troops for political purposes while treating them poorly. Finally thet roops, like the American people in general have seen through the Bush-Cheney lies. Time to redeploy and bring our guys home. Listen top Jack Murtha, not GW Bush. Murtha knows much better and is much more honest.
