Actually (of course) I have no idea whether Rahmatullah Hashemi took the SAT, or, if he did, what his score was. At some point in your life, say, past the age of 21 or so, SAT scores don't matter anymore.

They're like IQ tests. If IQ were all that mattered, then MENSA would rule the world.

BTW -- here is something Rahmatullah Hashemi wrote, in defense of the Taliban. I am not saying he's a wonderful person, but he's not the Antichrist, either.

He's right about Osama bin Laden, BTW. Bin Laden was living in Afghanistan long before the Taliban took power. He went there to throw the Soviets out. And while we dispute the allegation that the CIA funded bin Laden, they most definitely funded fundamentalist Muslims with the same beliefs as bin Laden. This started under Carter but Reagan continued it.

And, it worked. Too bad about the blowback.

It would surprise me if he had to take the SATs. And it would shock me if he took them and scored more than 1100.

He was probably treated like a recruit.
