I never said they were. I said select specialties get 60k. The average grunt only gets around a 20k bonus for re-upping. More than a years pay for a guy deciding whether to stay in Iraq and take his chances or take that WalMart job..

We pay the bonuses. We also pay for the security contractors making as much as 250k a year. Every dime of it wasted.
