No, I was introduced to Kermit Lynch by a local wine merchant who imports his private label stuff as well as his recommendations, all of which are French, I think.

Kermit I understand has prowled France for good, reasonably priced wine. He has been phenomenally successful. A kind of a cult figure, I think, in California.
