CyberKen favors giving $150,000 to each person who lost a home to Katrina. It's because of his socialist views.

CYBERKEN: "My own prediction is that the Dems will eventually give the traitors, atheists, and racists their walking papers ..."

HEY! Wait a minute! I am a pro-Bush atheist. Not all atheists are Democrats. In fact, I'll bet that there are quite a few atheists like me in the Republican Party.

Atheists can love and support America just as much as theists. In fact, I am an active 2006 member of the RNC, so I put my money where my mouth is.

What started me on my way towards atheism was, in part, because I am a Jew. As a teenager, it was difficult for me to understand how a kind and powerful god could just sit idly and watch while 1.5 million Jewish children were tortured, starved and murdered during the Holocaust.

Since then, witnessing all of the misery and suffering in this world, I am convinced that there cannot be any intelligent, active deity in charge, at least none that I would want to acknowledge. A god that doesn't shed a tear for others is not one that is welcome in my house.
