The dems are highly motivated to get this killed, count their coup, and move on before anyone has a chance to pay much attention to the Clintons involvement in the deal.

A rational debate could have answered these questions. Instead the House GOP has panicked, damaged the administration, and created a liability for their own party rolling into the midterm elections. This doesn't serve the country or the Congress well, even if I agree with the end result. They turned a controversy into an unnecessary debacle.

I agree, and I am a Republican. As a result of the above I will no longer donate to the National Republican Committee and restrict my donations to SPECIFIC CANDIDATES who have indicated they have an OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE. I am INSULTED that these people tucked tail and ran rather then face the issue head on. jdn
