Kenneth E. Phillipps you said: "Republicans have abandoned Bush." Somewhat. Elections are coming up. The priority is to elect and re-elect Republicans. But...... we still got the Patriot Act renewed. Of course, that wasn't supporting Bush, per se, as much as in allowing us to be able to fight terrorism and protect our country. Sadly, renewal of the Patriot Act was a Republican and Bush victory. It was turned into a partisan issue by the Democrats who put their own opportunistic goals ahead of country.
