Nope, the Iraq "war" ended long ago.

Actually for most folks there was never a "war".

I'm just making the point that the things which make the news (usually killings) may not be reflective of normal daily Iraqi life.....

We know people shop, eat, they get married, and go to the bathroom...so what? It has nothing to do with the (edit) non-war and its consequences.

I believe it's a safe bet that the killings in Iraq get at least 100% media coverage.
