I am not quite sure how successful they have been in this regard. Even with the recent good numbers AMAT had, few were out there pounding the table calling it a buy. The masses simply seem to have forgotten about this sector.

auri and etch, looking at SEMIbookings and price: remember that price is monthly high and low. These could have attained anytime during the month. Also, SEMIbookings for a month are not publicly announced until 3 weeks after the month ends.

In short, the chart tells what happened and suggests what may happen again, but exact trade timing must use other measures.

But you knew that :)
