I wonder if Lee Atwater's political dirty-tricks protege, Karl Rove, will go to his deathbed asking for a similar resolve from the god's almighty, as did Atwater. Interestingly, one Atwater's deathbed admissions was the the rightwing used as a tactic the targeting of the American media as "liberal." I guess the only difference is that more journalists have been killed under the Bush-Cheney presidency than any time in modern history. What's that mean. Maybe it's time to pen a tongue-n'-cheek memo-from-above (or below) from Lee Atwater's spirit looking over the political landscape of America today.
