I Wish Saddam was Still in Power. Yeah who wants a government run by Islamic Clerics following Islamic laws? I wish he was still stealing millions from his people through the Oil-for-Food program. Yeah, but we got Halliburton stealing millions from the American Taxpayer to make up for it. I wish he was still torturing those who spoke against him Yeah, now we have to do all the torturing ourselves. It's hard work keeping these people in line. Sometimes we have to send them to Guantanamo, or sub out the work to foreign countries. I wish his thugs were raping Iraqi women and children Women and children can't come out of the house for fear of being raped or killed. That keeps the rapes down. I wish there were news stories coming out every day, criticizing Bush for "ignoring the threat of Saddam in a post 9/11 world." Yeah now all we hear are the stories of Iran "goin nucular". I wish the Iraq Kurds were treated as second-class citizens in their own country, instead of running TV commercials thanking us for their freedom. They've been free ever since the no fly zone went into effect. They sure have been thankin us for a long time now. I wish we were living our lives wondering if Saddam was going to provide ANY kind of weapon to terrorists and use them against us. Yeah it's good to know that Saddam didn't have any WMD to supply to the terrorists. The weapons inspectors could have told us that. I wish we would leave now, so Saddam could regain power and 2,000 American lives could be wasted after fighting a war those same Americans believed in. Saddam has been captured for years now. You'd think the war was won already. Bring the troops home...they did their job. Too bad the oil can't pay for it though like the administration said it would. I wish we would leave now, so our brave troops can be denied the victory they deserve; so those 2,000 will have died in vain. I will be able to use those numbers forever to fight my political battles, which are most important to me. The troops won. They did the job...we should bring them home. I wish the Middle East and the Islamic world would stay the same, without democracy, without rights for women, and continue to develop hatred for the West. Nothing stays the same anymore. Soon as you get a democracy they vote in the Clerics and start following Islam, and the women who used to go to university will now have to wear burkahs. Ain't demockrazy wonderful? I wish all these things just because I despise George W. Bush, and those like him, more than I love the USA. Last time I checked the polls, almost 70% of the people are not approving of Bush. And 70% of the troops say the war is over. Just because you don't like Bush, doesn't mean you don't love your country though... I wish these things because I would rather use the war on Islamofacism for political gain than for the unification of my country, even after 3,000 innocent Americans died in one single day. I thought that is what Bush used to convince us to get into this war in the "heart of terror" in the middle east. Now he wants Iraq's neighbor to run our ports. Americans can't do that job very well apparently. I wish all these things because my political cause, and my religion of Liberalism, is more important than the success of our president, our troops, and our country. It sure has been a while since we've had any success from our president. The troops did just fine though. I wish all these things because I am a Liberal. Liberal...I thought you were a regressive conservative?
