I understand the plot twist and the prejudice that it played off of. I count myself as among those who DID NOT fall for the twist. It was too obvious and predictable to blame the Middle Eastern types. I agree with you that the majority of Middle Eastern types are NOT a threat. The fact that the majority of terrorists ARE Middle Eastern Types is inescapable, however. I think it is a grave mistake for us to get mired in politically correct thinking that precludes profiling. Little old ladies get the third degree to the same degree that Middle Easterners do, which I think is a gigantic waste of resources.
