Don, the market is in a crappy mood, and that's that. I think the mood of the day gets set by a large institution. There might be just a few of these mood-setting entities. If they're buying, everyone else scrambles to buy ahead of them, and if they're selling, same. These big reversals happen just because one person is is leaning one way, or the other.

When Fidelity buys into a stock or sector, there is a big run-up. When they sell, a big drop.
