Simply pointing out the OBVIOUS, longnshort.... America's 'Iraq policies' had been a complicated mess for a LONG TIME. (It's fairly silly to point out that 'Clinton left Saddam in power', which is true, without also noting that Bush I actually called off the Baghdad invasion [that would topple Saddam] mere days before it was due, subsequently stood around while Kurds and Shi'a were slaughtered by the Dictator.... Or noting that Reagan/Bush tilted US policy to supporting the Dictator's war against Iran, late in the Iran'Iraq War, and that this military help SAVED the Dictator.)
