It is racisim, but I'm enjoying it immensely. Bush can't have it both ways, deliberately fanning racist flames against "Islamo-Fascism" and then allowing Dubai to buy control of our ports. There's a lot of suspicion that the deal to let "an American entity" take control of the DPW ports means Dubai is just shifting it to a quickly set up American shell corporation to save Bush the embarrasment of having his first veto EVER overridden. If true, my fun is only starting...

JF, Essentially, what we said, is that "we don't trust any Arab, any Muslim. In our eyes you are all terrorists." The way I see it, it's like if we entrusted border security to a Mexican firm. Of course, there'd be less outcry over that, given how many Mexicans live here. Ah well, lots of idiocy on both sides with regard to the UAE port deal. Essentially, what we said, is that "we don't trust any Arab, any Muslim. In our eyes you are all terrorists." This was a reputable company, doing business all over the world. We took the Arab best and said you are no better than the worst Arab terrorist. Pure racism. I understand your anger, but are you really surprised at the American reaction? For 4 long years Americans have been told that Muslims are the enemy......suddenly, Bush changes course and springs it on them that he's given Muslims mgmt. of 6 American ports. To me, their reaction was perfectly normal.......and Bush's handling of it very typical of the incompetency and clumsiness his office has become known for over the past 3 years. The damage done to American/Muslim relations is considerable, but in my mind, they already were pretty bad........so this incident only made things worse. Things are headed for a collision course......that's why I am pushing impeachment. We have to get him and his chronies out, and get some people in there who know what they are doing. The crisis is worsening and time is running out.
