Religious EXTREMISM is the problem, not the religions themselves. I don't know much about Islam, but if someone practices what christ preached, he would be a very honest, selfless, charitable, tolerant, peaceful, nature-nurturing, loving and compassionate individual. I consider that person a true Christian and a fine moral being. But many extremists on the religious right are the opposite of that. In fact, the religious right, especially the political wing of it, has hijacked and exploited Christ for their own selfish and wrong-headed schemes. The religious right needs a good exorcism.
