What I am trying to understand is the argument against Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi going to Yale.

Telling me that lots of people were killed at Masar al Sharif doesn't tell me that Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi killed them, or assisted in killing them, either before or after.

He was a diplomat. Not a very impressive one, at that.

If the argument is going to stay on this level, let's just give it a rest. For once, you and Michelle Malkin are on the same side.

Oddly, these days being a former supporter of the Afghani mujahideen makes you suspect, despite the fact that Reagan and Ollie North supported the mujahideen once upon a time.

Full disclosure alert: I gave money ($100) (I know, last of the Big Spenders) to the mujahideen when Reagan was president. Unfortunately, blowback is a bitch.
