re: Re-enlistment rates are one data point. The poll is another. I don't find either really conclusive, but I would put more weight on the re-enlistment rates. You don't really understand soldiers. They may think the mission is wrong, but they still have loyalty to their comrades and country. Guys that have lost a couple of limbs feel guilty because they can't return to help their buddies. Believe what ever you want about the poll. It's obvious to everyone except the most partisan that Iraq was a huge mistake. You will admit that some day... this evening isn't a bad time. It's not hard, just say "I was wrong". Man, I've done it 100 times. John
