The real irony is that we are probably handing a good portion of Iraq to Iran on a silver platter.

Dude, do you have any reason to believe that Iraqis want to subjugate themselves to Iran? The only chance Iraq will be handed to Iran on a silver platter is if Iran wins an upcoming as of yet unannounced Iran-Iraq war.

Iran has and will probably continue to have more influence in Iraq than previously but Iraq has hardly been handed to Iran.
