I don't see any partisanship is holding the President accountable for not taking the warnings of Katrina seriously. I don't see any partisanship in laying blame on the President for not having acted even on being told that the levees would overflow. The overflow would cause devastation also and he should have acted immediately. The video showed that he did not ask any questions either. I read it as showing no interest. Others could interpret that as unable to grasp the gravity of the situation.

To me splitting hairs over the issues of a breach or overflow is further demonstration that the gravity of the situation is being overlooked.

I am sure you will agree that politics is all about perception. We along with the press can indulge in a intellectual exercise. But the common American thinks in very simple terms. The video comes across as that he was warned and he did not show a sense of urgency.
