I just finished my tax return for 2,005 after two days of off and on working on it. Got to write a check for the govt for $6,000 by 4/17 and have a huge headache. This is after paying in MORE then 2,004 taxes and caused mostly by PHANTOM income (ie no cash). Right now I feel like kicking anyones ass that wants to RAISE taxes. Next year will be even worse as learned 85% of my SS check will be taxable (only had 2 mos worth in 2,005). jdn

Hey, don't despair. I see many of you folks on my threads. And do know, you're more than welcome! I think the real problem here is that President Bush and Vice President Cheney have become too difficult--very, very difficult--to defend and that much of the criticism several of us have heaped has proven true.

Just my humble opinion, for what it's worth!
