I sure do remember what October 2002 felt like. It was almost nothing like the market is today. Fear was rampant. Half the traders on the Full disclosure thread were shorting stocks.

Briefing.com was commenting on past market bottoms marked by 90% downside days or two 80% downside days in close succession. Interest rates were falling rapidly but the economy was not responding. AMAT and almost every other company in this industry were saying that we have no visibility.

Does that seem like what we are reading and seeing today?
