Will it be Bin Ladin who rides victoriously into Washington and beheads Bush or will it be the Iranians or North Koreans with their 6 decade outdated nuclear technology? This just indicates how short-sighted and myopic you are being. We suffered over $1 Trillion in economic damage as the result of a $500,000 dollar operation on the part of Al Qai'da. But there are other means than merely invading the US. They don't have to do that.. All they have to do is control the economic means of global production and we'll kowtow to their every whim... Either that, or we'll be forced to conduct even more extensive military operations. It won't be occur overnight, but the trend would be clear were we seen to fail in Iraq. It would send up the flag that "America is weak" and Islamo-Fascism is stronger. Do you really think that permitting a few more Arab countries to fall under the sway of the Islamo-Fascists would make American "safer".. Of course you do... Myself, on the other hand, hold the belief that what we're undertaking now in the middle east is trying to nip this Islamo-Fascist ideology in the bud before it captures the imagination of even more Muslim youth. Y'see.. I don't want to see hundreds of thousands of people die in some future clash of ideologies, just because people like you failed to recognize the threat when we could have taken prophylactic actions to eliminate it.
