There was an excellent article in the WSJ either Monday or late last week about the entire ME experiencing a oil revenue fueled stock bubble. The percentage of people investing is at all time highs. People are quiting work to trade stocks. IPOs are getting snapped up. The stock market gross valuation is a multiple of GDP (with a small fraction of GDP in non government controlled entities). UAE was one of the nations specifically mentioned.

I still remember the US bubble, you had AOL buying Time Warner. There were two fiber optic companies bidding for US West (Quest outbid Frontier). The smart bubble companies were using overvalued stock to buy real value in actual brick and mortar companies.

How is this connected to the Ports deal?
