That one dropped off my radar. There has been a lot of money spent there since the initial vein played out. Placer Dome had a ridiculous number of rigs out there in 1998, but only briefly, then they bailed (about the time they paid $1 billion for Getchell). X-Cal then shopped the property to everyone with a pulse. New Sleeper raised $30 million a couple of years ago, and I see they are out now. I don't know how much they spent on Sleeper, but there was quite a bit of drilling out there. It seems like every epithermal expert has been contracted to look at it, Dick Sillitoe, Jeff Hedenquist, Ken Snyder, etc.

Where there is one high-grade epithermal vein there are usually others, but the prospective part of the Sleeper District is blind. So, it is a needle in a haystack. I might buy it if they announce a high grade intercept, but for now it looks like dilution city :(
