I was there for a week of sub -30 degrees at the airport, was accompanied by 40 mph winds. Muldoon used to hit -40 and colder every winter.

I once was in Palmer -50 with 60 mph winds.

Spent a Christmas day in Wasilla, started out about 30 below, a warm front came through and in 5 minutes it was 35 above.

Nice weather up there.
