they already aren't churches. they created god in their own image and now everything is okay and the god-genie better keep dishing out those wishes. anybody with two unbiased brain synapses will conclude that jesus' main teaching were to help the needy and paul, a minister, could barely afford clothes after decades of serving many hundreds of people, if not thousands! now the ministers claim giving to them == giving to god. they are so immoral they'd get rebuked by the pharisees in jesus' day. you know, the ones jesus called satan's children? not much has changed, except the date.
