It's too late for that for the next couple years. Fab36 is built, Chartered capacity is under contract, AMD has plenty of cash.

Intel would have to limit amd's ability to ramp up additional production capacity and the only way to do is to limit amd's pocket change.

Maybe long term, but short therm they can't. AMD has enough money to fully equip Fab 36 and still end up with excess cash. Plus, there is Chartered.
