No, I think the Silver Bullet campaign came after I was there. I'm an "..imported & USA Ale.." guy, so I don't pay much attention to the Lights.

I did two tours at Coors, one when they introduced Herman Joeseph's (..a high-end competitor to Michelob and the Imports..). They had just started using Mark Marmon in their commercials, we added some new high-speed fillers to some of the can lines, and they had already replaced all the old asbestos filters with diatomaceous earth filters. I did some work on the CIP (..Clean-in-Place..) and Blending System where beer comes back from the Government Cellars at 'high octane' and is then blended down to 3.2 enroute to the fillers for Coors Banquet and Coors Light. The second tour was when we designed the Coors 'Shenandoah Plant' that was subsequently built in western Virginia to support east coast distribution.

Coors, and Millers (..in Ohio..), are cold-filtered plants, the pasteurizers I worked around were at A-B in St Louis, and some of their other plants.

John :-)
