Elementary, Watson! TNX goes to 5% in a few weeks, then to 5.5%, then to 6%, the housing collapses etc. You know the bearish drill (g).

Just to further muddy the sentiment on sentiment, note that over the last couple of weeks the commercials have aggressively cut long positions in the S&P, while small specs pile on:

So, J6P may claim he's bearish, but he's putting his spec $ on the bull. If the trend continues and history is an indication, the market should tread water for another 4-6 weeks while the large specs get short. IMO, the bottom line is that getting short here is at best dead money for at least a month, but it is time to start looking that direction.
