What do you think of energy plays, at least until next fall?

I'm thinking of writing calls on XOM.

I sold some AMD covered calls for 2.5 and bought them back for 1.7. I had half of my position (the entire taxable account I can't write covered calls in my 401K) OTOH I sold too early I could have gotten more.

I haven't really considered covered calls against the other stocks. I'd have to do a buy/write because AMD is the only stock on your list that I own.
