All in all Romney's speech was well received. He came across as very articulate and passionate, and hit all the right notes with the crowd, including the issue of gay marriage, which received big applause Romney has accomplished next to nothing in Massachusetts, and made it perfectly clear that he regards the governorship as a mere launching pad for his Presdential run. He's not going to run for governor again; just as well, he would lose. Sure, he looks great. But he's an empty suit. Not even an effective pol.
