On JOYG
investorshub.com

Had been shorting NEM and tracking $GOLD and the miners during this recent decline (as well as other sectors) , all of which did recieve some bounces friday off the morning lows as did the home builders , Oil Services/Drillers , Refiners ....no doubt with the $WTIC again stabilizing on trending lower pricings last week , many of these did deserve to be taken down .

Unfortunately missed that bounce in JOYG , though caught some considerable bounces off the friday am lows in some others . Seems many shorts had decided to cover , and took a deft hand & awareness of lower support pivots for many of these as they went on these extended corrections .... plus being present in those very moments that morning to catch some of those bounces ...and willingness to dive in .

Some did bounce as much as 4pts ....a stockpickers market running on technicals for the moment with many variables still out there waiting . Seemed some decided that JOYG was presenting some value there on touch to one lower support level nearing $50.

PD was one that I had concentrated on , buying @ the $131's lower NT double bottom support pivot ...that will be trading split adjusted on Monday, will open @ $68.50 approx .

regards

Mars

PS: Might note over on IHUB how terrific it is to be able to include actual charts within a post on a thread which updates which SI lacks ...wonderful to be able to do this , so do more posting over there than SI now . Enjoying your thread ;)

SWING TRADE UPDATE .....................................

These are the trades that have been presented as swing trades. The swing trade time frame, as I apply it, is to look for short term price swings in the 2-5 day time frame. An occasional swing trade, if performing well, will be held a little longer.

Most swing trades will be presented with two profit targets. In most cases, I will sell 1/2 of my position at the first profit target. Once price hits the second profit target, in most cases I will switch to an hourly chart and track the lows, trying to gain as much profit as possible before selling.

E = Entry. S = Stop. AS = Adjusted stop. PT = Price or profit target.
