"I'm not talking about any particular denomination of the Christian religion. Regardless of what anyone says, the Catholic denomination is not the only Christian church on earth." True enough.... "So, you are saying that the Catholics believe in evolution instead of the story told in Genesis??" No. I'm saying that the OFFICIAL position of the Church is that there is no conflict between Christian teaching and philosophy and Darwinian evolution. That is also the position of several other denominations, so I'd venture to say that well over half of the world's Christians are hailing from denominations who's official policies state that Darwinianism presents no conflict with their Christian beliefs.
