The problem is "Extreme" is something that can only be determined in hindsight Not always. A couple of standard derivations to one side or another is pretty noticeable... and may indicate that perhaps it's time to look in the other direction. I think some time in the future, if and when I'll get lazy - or tired of this game - which, believe it or not, may happen -- I'll start trading just a few times a year, when charts and sentiment coincide. I was always interested in such junctures... imo it can be done.
