Yeah... they were stomping on the Ask again towards the close on Friday..

Methinks this is the way the mmkrs are discouraging day-traders and speculators (Mea Culpa.. ;0), while making sure that longer stronger hands obtain the fills they want in the shares.

We had a tremendous pop in the pre-markey, with 7 million shares traded. That's tremendous volume for such a stock, IMO.

And it might be indicative of our traders will have to capture profits for the short-term... sell pre-market, and wait to reload on daytime consolidation.

Btw, I think it's also significant that while JDSU is trading at $6 Billion in market cap, while AVNX is only trading at $330 million.

Now, granted JDSU is trading at 7 times sales, but AVNX only trading at 2 times sales, so that suggests that some JDSU folks might wind up flipping profits over to AVNX where there is more value, and a technologically stronger and more diverse company product line.
