Thanks, must admit I had forgotten all of the incidents you mentioned. Was in New York on the day of the crash, visiting Drexel, GS, Moody's and Standard & Poors. Have no recollection of even thinking about events in the Gulf on that day. But you are correct, the platform was attacked on Oct, 19. Just checked on Google. I am interested on how you were able to link the mining, the rig attack and the prior attack on the Kuwaiti oil tanker to the date of the stock market crash. Were you in the Gulf region on the day of the crash?
