I went to San Francisco once. It's the only city I could think of that has significant grades right in the middle of town; certainly it's not the only one.

Politics are way too weird in SF. They recently voted to disarm themselves, and are making it difficult for the Navy to berth a historical Battleship there. I'm sure I could not stand to stay there more than a day or two, even to ride a Segway.

They do look like fun. When they get to the commodity stage of development, perhaps I'll try one.
