I haven't seen a video of "Hurt." Rarely do you hear a song by anyone with such genuine emotion. I do not know how he could bear to sing it.

I really enjoyed Walk The Line. It really drove home the negative aspects of that way of life.

The same week that we watched "Line" we saw a special on the Country cable channel that documented Johnny Cash's life. Interviews taken in his later life showed that he was older than his years, but they clearly showed his love for June Carter Cash and his deep artistic talent. He must have worn a wig for some of his later performances because his hair was thin and grey in the interview segments.

I remember a movie in which Johnny Cash played a gunslinger who challenged Kirk Douglas to a gunfight to the death at the county fair. He lost. I don't remember the name of the movie.
