It's been a tough couple of months for the Republicans, especialy the Bush Administration. Inept is too kind a word.

It is almost sad to watch the few remaining Bush Lemmings follow him off the cliff. Tom Watson is lemming number one, carrying the flag and screaming: "GEORGE W. BUSH IS A GENIUS" as he tumbles over the cliff.

After watching the Sunday news shows today it is very difficult to determine how the President will manage the next step in Iraq. Reduce troop levels to help the republicans in the upcoming election? Could allow underlying sectarian violence to explode. Increase troop levels and try to get the provisional government (which looks day after day like a non-starter, as the Kurds hang with their fellow Sunnis and plan their eventual escape from this federation) established? Danger there is that no guarantee exists that more troops can accomplish anything more effectively than those brave men and women there now. Today's terrible and oh so deliberately targeted blasts just keep everything on a razor's edge. Those who are actually in Iraq seem consistent in reporting that the next six to eight weeks will be pivotal.

The arrogance and ill-preparedness of the Bush team is amazing to observe in hindsight. Some of it would be funny if it was not so sad...such as the fact that the original chosen name for the new Iraq security force was so close to the arabic word for f**k that it caused great consternation and confusion in the potental troops and leadership. Apprently no one in charge of choosing names spoke arabic, or bothered to check with anyone who did.

Well, Let's all hope for the best and continue to support those tremendous men and women placed in the center of this problem filled place in the World

<<I wouldn't want to be part of what your "perfect America" would be>>

Don't worry. You have NO CHANCE/

<<I believe in the constitution and the rule of law.>>

No, you don't. Nor does any OTHER anti-American sewer rat, no matter HOW many times you lie about it...
