Believe it or not, besides myself, there might be another person that is bullish there anymore. I don't think we will zoom off, but I think there is a cold snap that will sustain these equities here. There has been a massive pullback and a bounce is due. Between now and Friday there is an eternity.

If you wrote calls for a premium that still exists, wait for it to near expiry on Friday afternoon. That premium will go to zero. If there is an intrinsic value left, hopefully it will not exceed the premium you received and then can walk away with a wash by covering your calls.

Best regards,

Also consider rolling out your options. That is buying back at a loss the near term contract and writing the longer term contract out at a greater premium, therefore making up for the loss.

>>I hope that EOG, PTEN, and others retreat somewhat between today and expiry this Friday.<<

Tomorrow PTEN will have another presentation. And their presentation is pretty bullish. Wed. will be the record day for 0.04 dividend, and Thursday is the earning day. They are very likely to beat a couple of pennies. So although the stock may not go to $30, but $28 or so is very likely. And the maximum pain will be around $27.5.

I think it will be a short right after the earning<g>
