Twatson just calls everyone a liar out of knee jerk reaction. No one takes it seriously. Just like in "A Civil Action" when he is talking about how you should object to everything possible. When you fall asleep at the table in court and wake up the first thing you should say is "objection!", in the same way Twatson just says "Liar!" everytime he wakes up and finds himself drooling in his keyboard.
