The reason is that rights are being violated by the government

If the NRA belive that they would be working to have Bush & Co. impeached instead of supporting them. Their real agenda is just to sell more guns and ammo into a saturated market.

The NRA is for rightwing white guys by rightwing white guys. And we all know what gun-happy rightwing white guys fantasize about doing with those guns of theirs.

Clue: Not shooting other white guys.
